Hello my lovely little readers,
I know I have left you waiting and I have not updated
anything in a million trillion years. I am happy to say that I have finished my
bachelor’s in Business and Organizational Management yay!!!! My final GPA was
3.87 for my degree. Of course, the degree will not be conferred until December
15th so that kind of sucks.
Still rocking that first year teacher life. I'm glad I have
worked there all these years, so I knew exactly what to expect and I have built
a solid foundation. I just got a beautiful e-mail from the principal yesterday
telling me what a great job I'm doing and that they're noticing me doing such a
good job. I teach four classes of a specific science. It's the basic last
science you need if you were a student that is just meeting your science
graduation requirements, but it is not a subject that people are super
interested in. Well there is another teacher that has six classes of this, and
they are a first year to our school and let's just say they've got the
magnifying glass on them from all the different mistakes that keep making. When
I am told to help a new teacher that has taught before just not at our school
and I'm brand new that's the blind leading the blind lol.
I'm playing hooky today lol I honestly plan on working on
work I just wanted to come in and do a quick update to let you guys know that I
finished my degree.
I figure I used to delay doing my schoolwork and blog so now
I'm just delaying my lesson planning. I do have to say it feels weird lesson
planning on a Monday instead of a weekend. I have some viral chicken leg recipe in the
crock pot we'll see how that is later. I'm off but I'm still looking at the
time going ohh it would be first period ohh it would be second. Lol right now
this second, we would be in fourth period. I'm using dictate to write this in
Word and I'm going to cut and paste it into Blogger. I was issued a school
laptop that only special needs teachers get but it's smaller than my home
laptop. So now that I'm typing on my home laptop, I'm making a bunch of
mistakes because I'm used to the smaller keyboard not the larger one.
There is no school Friday for a teacher work day as we end the first 9 weeks. So I am making this four day week into a 3 day week with students. I actually really enjoy being at the school when there are no kids or even just on weekends. I find the quiet campus and my room to be quite Zen.
