Happy Mother's Day! (belated)

Happy Mother's Day to all of you beautiful ladies!  Happy Fur Mother's Day to all of you beautiful ladies!

I was not in any mood to type up a post yesterday. I came home and the house was a wreck. Had to chase after my oldest to do the dishwasher. He said he did. Sure he did if you count 1 cup. Meanwhile, stuff was stacking up in the sink and on the counters. Stuff out of his former room mind you.

Last Wednesday I saw an ad on facebook for a purple twin loft bed. I sent my brother a message saying that I would pay for it if he would pick it up for me. It was in the next town north and he has a truck and a trailer. He was able to go pick it up that same day after work and drop it off here.

Well, the boys sleep on a bunk bed frame that has been cut in half. They share a room but since pumpkin sleeps with me half the time and the boys are always fighting we decided to split them up. We moved the middle kiddo's bed to pumpkin's room weekend before last. This past weekend we realized there is no way basically that two bunk beds would fit in her room. The room the boys shared was larger so a room swap happened.

The set up of the loft bed happened Saturday with help from my brother. We basically had to screw the frame together because a bunch of the bits and bobs didn't transfer well.

Also picked up some new blinds because pumpkin likes to look out the windows and just pries the slats apart willy nilly. Have you seen the cordless style blinds that they make now? I must be living under a rock because I had no. idea. They are so very cool and worth the money I feel.

Middle kiddo was using the top part of the bunk while the oldest was on the bottom. We left the frames in the rooms they were in and just swapped the mattresses. We didn't want to have to take off the door frames again. That is the only way the door jams are wide enough.

I will add pictures. Try not the judge the wall decor. My middle was a wall decorator and we have not repainted yet since pumpkin will probably follow in his footsteps. If you look at the slide on the purple bed she already did with sugar-free kool-aid water packets that middle boy will be scrubbing off today.

Oldest's room

Middle and youngest's room

This is why the house was wrecked. Husband spent the day finishing up the room swaps. The sad part is we already took 3 full bags of toys and junk out of her old room 2 weeks ago and took bins of toys to Poppa's house. Do you see all those toys and stuffed animals? Love me some hand me downs!

The last thing I had my brother do is add some hooks to our hallway. I wanted a command station but wanted to do it on the cheap. I am happy with the way it turned out. That will be a future post. :)

PS: This is my makeup Mother's Day. I only worked 2 hours then got to come home to a quiet house today. Kids are at school and pumpkin at Poppa's house. Hubby is home sick but he is sleeping so I am pretending to be home alone.

Grumpy Girl and good news!

I have been busy (and grumpy) this week. I'm trying to learn how to go from four 10-hours shifts to five 8-hour shifts. I am not used to working five days in a row. Then an employee on store level had a bug Thursday, so I had to go work that store. 12+ hour day between the drive and the 10-hour shift.

I was a wee bit grumpy this morning. I planned on taking back my time today but it just wasn't in the cards for me. I was excited to have the weekend off but I found out this morning I have to cover a store on Sunday. Grrrrrr. I'm just a ball of sunshine today!

While I was working the store Thursday, I came up with a different way to list my bills that may be a little more understandable for you all. Then today I went and got some fancy highlighters so that it is really easy to read (fingers crossed) I started on the menu for next week too.

I also realized that I'm just going to be in limbo for about 6 months. I have dreams of starting our debt reduction but all bets are off after this next pay period. Then summer break begins. My main goal is to not use our credit cards over the summer. I know I might not have a choice when I run out of saved cash but I will deal with that then. Hubby gets another financial aid disbursement at the end of May that will help with summer slump. A $75 bill will be paid off by Oct and hubby's car will be paid off in December. That will free up some money to snowball. Of course, then those student loans will come a knocking. It is what it is.

Good News

Hubby has officially been named the Girls Cross Country coach at the High School he works at for the new year. He was also asked to be the Distance coach for the Track team too. That will be an extra $3k+ to his income next school year. Not to mention he will graduate with his Bachelor in Dec 2019. The school plans on keeping him in the same class he is in, he will just step up and be the teacher instead of the sidekick.

Simple Swan meal plan- wk 2

I was walking around the house and even outside last night to get those last steps. I did it though! No clue what I am talking about? See my post titled May goals.

The first week of my Simple Swan meal plan was a success!  Yaaas!  Week 1  if you want to check it out!

I have picked the 7 meals for week two. They are based off what we have in the house.
Technically, I have everything but maybe 2 things for the week. Those things will not be needed till Saturday so I have time to work on that.

You will see that I only list the main meal part. Veggies and or starch are added at the time the meal is made. Those vary on how I feel each day.

I know this may be hard to read in the pictures so I will list the meals underneath.

*All food is either already Keto or easily adaptable to fit a Keto lifestyle*

Menu for this week*:
Sun:  Greek Salad  (leftover lettuce& ham- feta was BOGO when bought last week at Publix)
Mon: Tacos
Tue:   Spaghetti and meat sauce (will brown double meat on Tuesday for prep)
Wed:  Hot Dogs w/chips
Thu:  Mayo Chicken
Fri:    Fish
Sat:   Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole (yes it is misspelled in pic LOL)

*All food is either low carb or will be low carb with tweaks for me*

May goals

You all now know my May budget so I might as well share my May goals as well.

I admittedly just came up with them last night. Haha! I got this awesome planner (clearance @ HomeGoods for $4.50) that has some neat sections. There is a calendar then a daily goal tracker in the first half. Towards the back, there are sections for each days agenda.

There is also a rate your year area. Where you make a key for 5 feelings and you color in that color for how you felt today.

I have seen those pictures in bullet journals and stuff of the concept of the tracking of feelings. I think it is a great idea!

So in case, you cannot read my handwriting like my coworkers -here they are. LOL

  1. Walk 5000 steps (I need more for tonight)
  2. Drink 16.9oz of water (I dislike water, but, even I can do this)
  3. On plan with no BLT's (Bites, Licks, Tastes)
  4. No Spend- LUNCH
  5. Follow meal plan (it's only been a wk with my new one and so far perfect)
  6. Vitamin

Keep in mind I just wrote these down last night. The ones filled in already are just happy coincidences. Except for the water. That was completed today for the grid. I need like 1800 more steps for tonight to get that 5k. I am tired, off to stumble around the house.

May 2019 Budget

Time to introduce the budget for May 2019

We have a lot of bills. To the tune of $3405.15 a month.  As you can imagine a lot of that is credit card minimum payments.

While I love to see all the fancy pages that people have for keeping track of their budgets- I have notebook paper. Maybe when I get some of this stuff paid down I can have pretty budget pages.

I am listing the budget for the entire month. I do what I call paycheck to paycheck budgeting. I pay everything due prior to the next paycheck with the current paycheck. It works for me.

I have totaled our income for the month as well. Two paychecks for myself and two for hubby. I have no problem sharing our debt, but our income as to what came from who is another story.

I hope that you are able to make out the budget by looking at my picture. I also have the food budget listed along with what has been spent so far in the upper right corner. Four items due this month were paid with the last check of April. Just as two things due in June will be paid by the May 24th checks. I tried to separate the two checks with the highlighter line.
Click picture to enlarge.

Looking at this you will see after the bills and the food budget we will be left with $176.15 for the month. That will cover gas and misc. items like chicken food. I am not a fan as of yet of sinking funds. Maybe my views will change when I have more money to play with but as of now I see no reason to do that.

We also have a $1000 Emergency Fund fully funded along with more money set aside. Husband only gets these two full paychecks and one more partial for the year. Therefore, the set back money will have to supplement my income to help us make the bills for the summer months.

So any monies leftover from that $176.15 must go towards that.

PS. The cell phone bill looks really high but that is 5 phones plus a tablet. $25 of it is device payments. I cover 100% of the bill as two phones and the tablet are my in-laws. They are daycare for our three year old daughter. They will not accept money so I pay their portion of  the bill.

Simple Swan meal plan- Weekly plan trial

If you would like to see Versions 1, 2, and 3 click here.  I am trying to find the best fit for meal planning for myself and my family. This is technically Version 4. LOL

As I said in Version 3, I watched a Youtube video by Debtkickin Mom.

Linking it here in case you missed it or want to watch it. She feeds her family of 6 on a budget of $500.

In the debt reduction world it seems to be recommended to have a grocery budget of $100 per person, per month. I am going to attempt that starting this week. It will be a little crossover from April but that is fine.

Today is the best day for me to start this version with my work schedule. I am not going to be going to the store and spending $100 dollars. I am allotting $400 for our grocery budget. (Pipsqueek isn't old enough to add yet. Hah)  Today it will be a Sam's Club trip to restock the freezer with meat. Because I *know* how cheap Sam's is for meat I hate paying full price at the grocery store! I will be using cash as that will be the only way I know for sure that I have stuck to the allotted amount for the month. I could add up all the debit charges but cash will keep me honest.

I have picked out 7 meals for the first week. I will have a birthday boy on May 2nd so he picked the meal. My kids are extremely basic and do not like a lot of food. The meal I have planned for today I don't think they will like. That is what peanut butter & jelly is for though. My oldest doesn't like the birthday boy's choice meal. He will have something else that night.

I do admit that now I want a planner again after seeing her video. I had a Happy Planner but I gave it away to a friend as I thought she would use it more. My week starts on Sunday but the planners all seem to start on Monday and it bugged me. I am trying to resist the want though. That is $20 (on sale) that should go to a bill.

Here is a picture of my meal plan for the week. Nothing fancy. Wednesday will more than likely be nachos for the family which is why I moved Tacos to Monday. Hubby is good with leftovers but not back to back like Debtkickin Mom does in her video above.

*All food is either already Keto or easily adaptable to fit a Keto lifestyle*

I just realized Mayo Chicken may not make sense to you all. It is Parmesan chicken. The one where you take mayo and mix in grated parm and seasonings then slather on the chicken and bake.

*All food is either low carb or will be low carb with tweaks for me.

Wedding day for K.

I am a notary and in this great state of Florida I can perform weddings.

I have a wedding at 5 pm this afternoon about 45 miles north. Former employee of mine asked me to do it. Originally it was local to me so I said yes. Her location ended up not being built in time so she had to move it to the next town north. Since I travel a fair amount for work I have no problem with the drive.

I'm more concerned with my performance. I do not like being the center of attention so I only really do weddings for friends/family. I have always messed up at some point at every wedding I have done. Good thing I don't charge them! Haha!

22 credit cards

22 Credit Cards

This is a link to my future blog home and a post about our credit card debt.

You shouldn't have to update your links as MrsSwan.com has been flipped over already.

Theswaninme.com will be set as a redirect there once I am totally comfortable with the whole set up.

I want to share our journey for our own memories. As well possibly help someone else on their journey in the future.

I hope to see you there!

Easy Container Gardening with a kiddie pool.

On March 10th I started the kiddie pool (or baby pool) garden.

I was inspired by my Mother's kiddie pool garden pictured below.

I knew I had an old pool in the garage. I also knew my daughter would ADORE a kiddie pool. I decided to use the old one for this garden idea and buy her a new one. It worked out perfectly as the old one had stress cracks in the edges so it would have slowly leaked water anyway.
One trip to Lowe's later and I had my supplies.
  • 2- 40lb bags of potting soil (only used 1) 2 for $12
  • 4 small plants on sale 2 for $5
  • 2 medium plants $3.33 each
Total of $30.66 with tax as I already owned the pool (Pools are usually about $8 this size)
I ended up with 2 pepper types, 3 tomato types, and one broccoli plant.
  • Green bell pepper
  • Hot banana pepper
  • Lieutenant broccoli
  • Little Napoli tomato
  • Husky cherry red tomato
  • Super sweet 100 tomato
Below you will see my garden. The only care that we have shown it is daily watering. I have backyard chickens therefore it is easy to water the garden when one is dealing with the gals.

Disclaimer: This post was originally posted at www.MrsSwan.com but I realized until all my stuff switches over completely I can just double post.

Can a night owl become a morning bird?

I have a laptop. Hubby does not have a laptop. Hubby is in school online and needs a laptop. I am attempting to grow my online presence therefore I need a laptop. Hubby has homework therefore he needs a laptop for that. So this causes strife. 😤

I am not buying a new laptop, that would be wasting money that must go to debt. One of those credit cards is a Dell account that has only been added to over the last 12 yrs or so. 😑

I am going to attempt to wake up at 5am so that I can use MY laptop. I want me time and early morning is the only time I could possibly get it. I am soooo not a morning person.  However hubby takes his me time in the evening. Not to mention I need my sleep. Overtired mommy is a grumpy, grumpy mommy. 👿

Tomorrow is the first day I am going to try.

Wish me luck!

Happy Easter.

I hope that you had a restful day full of family and love.

Hopefully there was not too much sugar involved.

I got lucky, my inlaws are watching their sugars. They made sugar free cake with sugar free pudding. Of course still a lot of carbs but that is the first cake I have had this year. It was better than I expected. I may have had some chips and potato salad as well. I still avoided that icky sugar.

I was tempted!! But I think the want has passed. To much of my favorite candy floating around in front of my nose.

New site is coming along slowly. Not sure if I should just start fresh or migrate this years posts over.

Trying to blog with a 3 yr old that needs lots of attention is interesting.

Summary of the last few years.

Don't you hate it when you write a note to yourself that makes no sense a day later!?

Yeah... That would be me right now this second. 🤣

I guess I should give you all a quick summary for any that have just found me.
Married for almost 16 years. 3 kiddos- well 4 if you count the hubby- and you should.

Homeowners for almost 16 years.  You would think that we would be half way done with our mortgage right? Nope. We refinanced to pull out cash, not once, but twice. DOH!
We have about 19 years to go.

We never should have been able to buy a house. We should have lost our house many years ago when the market crashed. Thank goodness I was a member of a money saving board online back then on AOL. I made sure that we did not get a mortgage that was above our means. I am so thankful I was smart enough to do that at least or we would have lost our home for sure. The company that caused the crash is literally who we bought our house from.  We bought under what we were approved. To be honest our interest rate sucks but our debt to income is to high to even think about refinancing to lower it. So we just putter along.

Husband was laid off around 2010. He had landed a job in the horse insurance industry through a temp agency and he HATED it so he was happy with lay off. He took time off to job hunt but with a baby (middle kiddo) it just wasn't worth paying for daycare.

He decided to go back to school. PELL Grants paid for everything since our income was so low. We took out student loans to help counteract his lack of income. We just figured we would deal with everything later . Well he kinda did some flip flopping and ended up changing majors multiple times. He was in school for seven years till he walked away. He got a job like 9 months later and has been there since.

He is a paraprofessional for a local High School. He LOVES it! I just wish he had found this path sooner. He has had the opportunity to step up and become a teacher 3 times now in the year and a half he has been there. However, one needs a Bachelor to teach in our state. Hence, why he is back in school.

I work full time as a Area Manager to a office/retail type environment company. I do a lot of traveling to the various locations under me. This year makes 13 years with the company.

Just some simple background on me and my fam.

I have been blogging for years about my want to lose weight.

Obviously, I have not been super sucessfull.

I am determined to be sucessfull about weight loss, debt loss, and clutter loss here in 2019.

Reader question:
How many years do you have left on your mortgage?

Financial check up

February is the month that I gave myself a financial check up. I stopped being the ostrich with my head buried in the sand and faced it ALL.

I admit, I am still hiding out from hubby's student loans but everything else is on the table.
I eagerly awaited late February for our tax return. I had dreams of paying off debt. However, due to robbing Peter to pay Paul over the last several months the majority of our taxes went to catching up on bills and paying off 2 small high interest loans. Ok fine. Full disclosure. 2 payday loans. I started reading about Dave Ramsey and decided to try and start to follow some of his Baby Steps.

I intended to sit on as much of our taxes as possible as hubby works for a High School and has summers off. Which equal no 2nd income for three months. I was able to set aside $1000 of our taxes to complete baby step 1. I was so pleased with myself! I was able to catch everything up AND set aside that money! (Insert Cabbage Patch dance)
Whoo hoo! Right? Well then hubby got into a little fender bender. Goodbye $500 deductible and $173.25 for ticket. As well as $25.00 for traffic school. Yeah. That hurt. Thankfully I had it in reserve and we didn't have to take out another payday loan.
Hubby is back in school for his Bachelor. He wants to be a teacher. That is partly why my head is in the sand. Because more loans. (Disclaimer: Dave Ramsey is 1000% against student loans I am aware)
We received money back from this semester which is creating BS1 again but with interest I know. Le sigh. So I cannot claim that we have completely stopped using credit.
I can claim that we have not used any credit cards in 2 months though. 😁 I am uber proud of that tidbit.
I can tell you that since I actively took control I have paid off 2 CREDIT CARDS!!
Yaasss! We only have 19 more to go! Yes, you read that right. We have 21 credit cards. 😳 Seven years of 1 income will do that to you.
This is where we currently stand. I say in my last post that I am -ISH. I guess I could say wannabe as well. Basically I am loosley following DR principals (ish) while eating low carb (ish) and decluttering (ish) my space.

Tap, tap, Is this thing on?

Hello there my lovely people.

It has been quite a while since I have been here. As I mentioned in my last post, I have moved to Instagram for my pictures and posts. For those of you that are in the dark ages like I was about Instagram it is a online community of pictures/videos.

I may be repurposing this blog though. It has gone through so many ups and downs with me. For most of these years it has been a weight loss with a little bit of life thrown in. I have debated changing the focus a few times.

The time is here. I am changing and evolving (Pokemon hah) as I age and it is time for this blog to as well.

2019 so far has been an excellent year for my family. I have maintained my weight loss path I started 12/31/2018. I have decluttered much out of my house. I have also started our path to financial freedom.

I want to share with others my path on these things in case I can help you.

Warning: I am full of -ISH. Meaning a have many various interests but I -ISH them. As long as my end game is positive that is my concern.

I hope to see you while I document our life.

For those of you that remember me and my surprise 3rd kiddo here is a current picture of her. She is now 3 and such a little stink.

Instagram

I'm still here and all is well. I have been posting more on Instagram. Daily actually. If you want to find me there I am: keto.swan

So I see I never published this from a few days ago. Whoops.

Day 24 and going strong! My weight is not dropping as fast as I would like it too buuuut I feel good. That is really what matters. It is true and I keeping telling myself that as well. I am feeling great about work, life, future debt reduction plans all kinds of stuff. I'm not feeling great about the scale but it is my own fault for stepping on daily. I keep meaning to ask my hubby to hide the damn thing. Lol

Anyway life is good. I hope all is well for you! Even if I don't lose tons of weight (I know eventually the scale will lower) I need to keep this up for how I feel. While I have had some simple carbs (like what 4 times I thinkl I have avoided sugar.  Sugar is my true enemy.

Thursday

I ended up switching up the meal plan which is exactly why I don't like to commit to one. Tonight I ended up making cheeseburger sloppy joes. Big hit with the whole family!!

Off today and sorta a blah day. Not really feeling the blog tonight so goodnight.

Simple Swan meal plan

This here is my simple swan meal plan for my family. No, it is not keto. Many of them can be dirty keto modified. Or I will just eat something else. Finances and dirty keto will have to work hand in hand around here.

I work until 7 and am often not home till
7:30 or later. I am the only person in the house that is capable of cooking it seems. @@ So the meal cooking falls on me most of them time. Sometimes I can have hubby start grilling but he gets impatient quickly when it isn't cooked to his standard in his personal time frame. I can also have my son start cooking thawed ground beef to crumble but he goes overboard with that chopped utensil and I end up with fine ground beef.

Of course the kids come in while I am cooking and ask what is for dinner. That is an instant piss off for me honestly. I know they are just innocently asking but when they ask Every. Single. Night.  They KNOW I don't like it so it feels like a they are just being butts.

I did overhear my 13 yr old telling hubby last night that I should make a list with what dinner is nightly so they dont have to ask. As you can imagine that went over well. I told him when he started cooking dinner I would gladly make a list for him to cook of off. If they would actually start dinner and help me out I would gladly make a list. However, I get home and they are all (hubby included) playing video games or on phones. As you can imagine that sets my mood. I get the pleasure of coming home from work to make these lazy asses dinner. No. I'm not bitter or anything. 🤣🤣🤣

As annoyed as I get I know it is my own fault. I let hubby get away with it from the start. I do intend on making, yes making, the kids learn how to cook but 13 is a bit young to me. Shush. I know it isn't but I am hoping he grows out of his playing dumb attitude ok?.

Korean beef with rice (cauli rice me)
Sausage & Peppers/Onions ×2
Brats/hot dogs on grill
Hm Pizza x2.
Tacos x2 (low carb tortilla me or salad)
Chicken & rice (cauli rice me)
Chili
Nachos or picadillo (leftover taco meat)
Boneless, skinless chicken thighs.

That is only 12 meals but there will be leftovers. Or the ever famous mac n cheese if I dont feel like cooking period.

Earlier I was thinking about thawing something for dinner but now I think I will use leftover chicken from the thighs I cooked last night for today.

I honestly cannot make a chart though even if I wanted. I have found that having a list of possible meals that can be made with what is in the house works best for me. If I try and assign a night more than 1 day in advance it just doesn't work. That item may not sound appealing that day or I just dont want to make the effort.

Ended up with pizza tonight. Here is mine.

I downloaded a new app to use in blogger  let's hope the pictures work.

Tuesday a.m.

Sunday was spent at the blue box store spending way to much. Of course we needed kitty litter and other things other than food.

Monday I worked and had a great day. Towards the end of they day though I started feeling really anxious and rushed. I didnt want to eat junk because of it, but I didn't like it. I was trying to figure out what the problem was. It took me a while but I finally got it. My neighbor texted me out of blue if I wanted her couches. I don't have a need. I started trying to see if I knew anyone to help her out. She said she needed them gone by Tues night. No one seemed interested then my phone died. I charged it in car but a slow charge. By the time I got home I was just kinda feeling overwhelmed and off. I knew dinner would be quick of baked chicken thighs and veggies. I never did hear back from my neighbor and I never told her I couldn't find anyone.

When I was laying down it hit me. That was my issue. I let her problem become my problem. Thank goodness that I didn't reach for food today. (Probably because I polished off a bag of BBQ pork rinds before her text and was still burping them up all night. Hah.)

I actually didn't even eat dinner. I just wasn't hungry. Drives my husband batty when he notices. I don't see a reason to eat when I am not hungry though. He thinks it is unhealthy. Obviously he has never read a thing on IF and the benefits.

So there you have it. A summary of my last few days.

Today I am off and just relaxing with the baby girl as of now. I am not sure what my next project will be around the house. I do need to figure out what dinner will be just so I can get stuff thawed if need be. I have a loose 2 week dinner plan.

Saturday and WI

This is the day I busted my ass on two projects.

I intended to only work on decluttering my dresser. However, I am in a declutter 2019 things in 2019 group and someone on there was working on her closet. After finishing my dresser I dove into the closet as well. Both the dresser and closet were stripped of everything then what was kept was put back in. There are now 5 garbage bags of clothing to donate in my car. Thankfully my inlaws church has a thrift store so it will all go there Monday. Well to my inlaws when I drop off baby girl. What they do with it is on them.

Sitting here drinking my coffee trying to work on a meal plan for the week. I thought I had tons of protein in the freezer but I just did an inventory. What I do have is freezer burnt or unlabeled and I am not 1000% sure what it is. Whoops! Hah. So I need to come up with a 2 week dinner list using what I have and what I can get on sale. I have about $100 I can play with.

I have some freezer burned meatballs thawing now. There are 2 zip locks of what appear to be beef roast. Wow I have type these words before. I remember the be beef roast because it looks funny. I should scroll back and see when so I have a date. Hah

Oh my most exciting news! Weigh in was like 30 minutes ago. I am down 5.8 pounds!!

Let's keep up with our better choices no matter what plan we are following. 😎

Eggs for sure. Those 30 eggs I hb last weekend? GONE.  By my family...   I have 3 at work still thankfully.

Just my thoughts.

Forgive me peeps as I have sinned.

I was a dirty, dirty girl today. 🤣  I am not upset because I knew exactly what I was doing. It was a potential thing I knew that I would experience as part of my dirty.

I have to be able to keep this up for life if I want to be successful. Therefore I know I will be really dirty from time to time. Sugar is my worst enemy. Sugar is my addiction.  This item was not sugar. (Yes, I know carbs turn into sugar.. )

Anyway, I do admit to being tempted a few hours later when I went through a drive thru for a drink. I was tempted on the thought of sugar. I mean I already was dirty today so what is one more thing??
I literally yelled in my car.  NO, get your shit together!. Then I ordered my diet coke and all wants vanished. It will be a daily struggle at times.

I fully intend to have carbs from time to time so if that bothers you sorry. You do you and I will do me. I dont want to keep it to myself when I do as that WILL make me feel like I am hiding it. I am not. Will it hurt me? Time will tell.

I wouldn't last on a 100% clean keto which is why I never really used the label.

Day 4

All is perfect here in dirty, lazy, keto land. I just didnt blog yesterday. I shouldn't today but I didnt want to leave two days hanging. Off to hop in shower then bed.

Tuesday, January 1, 2019

Good start.

Another day down and all is well. Yessss it has only been 2 days but meh. Hah! Zero temptation for anything out of line. I didn't even grab a fruit loop when my son was getting a bowl next to me.

I spent the day making things to help me along my path. 30 hard boiled eggs. (ty instantpot) pound of bacon cubed and fried. 1 head of cabbage sauteed in bacon grease. Jalepeno poppers make with the crumbled bacon. I also flash froze 5 huge bell pepper worth of diced peppers. I was going to do onions as well but I think that ship has sailed as it is 10pm.

The ship sailed because I came I to my bedroom and declutter my makeup table. I love my table but honestly I dont wear makeup much. I dont know if I even did once in 2018. However you will have to pry my makeup from my cold dead body. I love the stuff! I have a bunch of stuff from ipsy I covet.  I did cancel my ipsy membership like a year ago. I may redo it if I stay on task for weight loss. The whole lose 20 lbs and get a pedicure doesn't work for me. I am a "you want it you get it" type of person.

I would love to add pictures but I am using the blogger app and for some reason it will not let me post a picture. It corrupts the post and will not publish.

Oh well. What can you do? So I feel like I have been on track for weeks. Laughing at myself that it has been a whopping 2 days.
