Happy Easter.

I hope that you had a restful day full of family and love.

Hopefully there was not too much sugar involved.

I got lucky, my inlaws are watching their sugars. They made sugar free cake with sugar free pudding. Of course still a lot of carbs but that is the first cake I have had this year. It was better than I expected. I may have had some chips and potato salad as well. I still avoided that icky sugar.

I was tempted!! But I think the want has passed. To much of my favorite candy floating around in front of my nose.

New site is coming along slowly. Not sure if I should just start fresh or migrate this years posts over.

Trying to blog with a 3 yr old that needs lots of attention is interesting.

  1. Happy belated Easter! I was able to do pretty good....I had a very small portion of dessert at my family function. My mother in-law gave us our Easter egg (peanut butter) but she is diabetic so is very savvy and makes them as low fat and low sugar as possible. Nice for me!!!

  2. I've been at the beach and its been wonderful! Since there aren't any little kids the sweets aren't an issue. Take care!

    1. I did good! I avoided allllll the candy! I need to go get some more of those Smart Sweets though. They are 3g of sugar for the entire BAG and I only eat like 4 pieces at a time.

  3. Happy Belated Easter. It is possible to eat well with little sugar. However, I cannot go without cake....something I really have to avoid because I can't just have one piece. Not good for the WW scale.

  4. At least with WW you have the classic cake mix with a can of sf soda. :) or angel food cake is pretty light if I recall. Thanks for stopping by.

  5. My birthday was the day after Easter, so between Easter candy and birthday cake, there was PLENTY of sugar in my weekend! Where will your new blog be? Every time I have migrated old posts to a new blog, the formatting of old posts, especially the ones with images, gets messed up, but you can at least still read them.
