SCHOOLS OUT FOR SUMMER

Hello my darling!

I am so very happy to announce that school is out for summer! 

Today we have my middle child's graduation. Tomorrow we have his graduation party. Then my only responsibilities is XC (Cross Country) practice the week after next 3 days a week. Those will be early morning days. 

I currently feel so much freedom! We had a discussion yesterday and I am no longer cooking dinner. Hubby hasn't been eating as much lately. I am cooking when I want and it doesn't necessarily line up when he is hungry. Therefore he said he would be fine making himself food. as the kids say BET!  

Middle guy (B) was in the car with us so he of course heard the conversation. He turned 18 last month and now that he is out of school he is finding himself. He has been going to the gym with a friend and is slowly working on himself and getting into fitness. My oldest is 20 (A) and his is just his lump of a self. All he does is eat, sleep, daily bath, and video games. He swears that he is applying for jobs but no one is calling. He doesn't drive so a job would have to work around our schedules. 

Anyway I have been cooking for everyone most nights of the week. Now I am no longer doing that starting yesterday. I will of course be cooking for myself and potentially my youngest that is 10 (C). She is able to get her own food though when it comes to sandwiches and chicken nuggets. 

I knew I could join a gym for a lower rate thought my insurance but I just never dealt with it. My teacher bestie dude has it for Planet Fitness.  I ended up joining and went to the club by my house. They said that it was only for the basic one and $14 more a month for black, so I just signed up silver because I paid for it. Then spoke to his and found out he went the other one and they gave him a black card. I called the one in town and they said they had to check the plan but when I told them coworker has black they said then it should be black. Come to find out the one by my house is a franchise and the in town one is corporate. I cancelled the franchise one (I can still go back till 6/16) and then 6/17 I will go to the town one and re-sign up under them. 

So this girly pop is now a member of PF.  I also plan on joining YMCA as well for the pool. Plus my brother gave me the money for the Y. I can take my daughter to the Y and either put her in teen center or take her to the pool to play in the water. I am waiting till June for that one though and will have it for June/July. It will basically be like our "going to the beach" 

Technically now that I am a teacher I get into Legoland free so we may do that this summer as well. I have not told my daughter because I am not committing to that yet. 

My first day at the gym I took my kid to meet up with his friend. I can to internally laugh because all I saw was a whole bunch of that picture below. The two of them standing around on phones. My kid said that is part of the fun- spotting each other on lifts and bonding.  He told me his friend will help me out (19) and I told him hell no. That I would be super pissed if he offered his "expertise" unless I asked for it. His friend is 19 with a baby that thinks he knows everything about the world and my son idolizes him. His friend is like his god and nothing we say mattered unless his friend has said the same. It drives us bonkers! I have been in a gym and I know how to ask for help if I need it.  I did internally giggle when he told me after that his friend said I looked like I was getting a good workout in. 

I have now officially gone 3 times and will keep going. No set schedule yet, just on a whim at this point. 

I have other stuff to say but that can wait. Off to get ready for graduation!
